Plasma Pen: Where Can You Get It Done?

Having loose skin on your face can make you feel like you’ve hopped on the aging train and it’s headed south from there. Here at our office, we believe that everyone deserves the opportunity to age gracefully. With a combination of Botox, fillers, and procedures like Plasma Pen, we can help all of our patients achieve a more youthful look to help make the aging process go a little smoother. No, we can’t necessarily make you look like your 20-year-old self (because you’re not) but we can help to smooth out fine lines and wrinkles and restore some volume in the skin as well.

With the plasma pen, we can help stimulate collagen production in your skin while also releasing essential proteins into the dermis. During this process, the Plasma Pen converts electrical energy into electrostatic energy. Then at about a 1mm depth into the skin, nitrogen and oxygen are mixed to produce plasma, which is then discharged into the skin. When this happens, the skin tissue immediately contracts, which helps with elasticity.

Because the Plasma Pen helps to give patients real results, a lot of patients want to know where they can get it done. Let’s take a closer look and see.

  • Stomachs and stretchmarks
  • Breast lifts
  • Decollete
  • Legs and knees
  • Scars
  • Loose arm skin/sagging
  • Skin tags, blemishes, and hemangiomas
  • Thread veins
  • Necklift, turkey neck, and necklines
  • The Face: The most popular place that we use the Plasma Pen is on the face. Depending on your primary concerns, we can use it on any part of the face, including:

Upper Face

We use the Plasma Pen on the upper face to help lift the eyebrow, lift the forehead, and treat fine lines and wrinkles across the forehead. We can also do an upper facial to help treat the upper and lower eyelids so that you don’t have to get a blepharoplasty.

Mid Face

Midfacial treatments may include a cheek lift and ear lobe rejuvenation. A mid facial can also treat horizontal lines, tear troughs, nasolabial folds, accordion lines, and folds.

Lower Facial

A lower facial can focus on the mouth corners, jowl/jawline tightening, smile lines, vertical lip lines, and also chin augmentation.
