Our annual Wrinkle Erase for the Cause is Thursday, October 13th, from 7 AM to 7 PM
West End Plastic Surgery, 2240 M St NW, Suite 200.

There is hardly a person who has not been touched by breast cancer through personal experience, a family member, friend or colleague. If you know anyone who has suffered from any type of cancer you understand the trials they have endured. Breast cancer affects nearly one in eight women currently, but it is also one of the cancers against which medicine and research have begun to win the fight. Only through continued fundraising support will this fight be won.

Dr. Ruff was inspired by his many breast reconstruction patients; as well as, his mother, sister and mother-in-law who are all survivors.

Wrinkle Erase for the Cause started in 2008 as a unique way to fundraise and promote awareness. The event is held each year in October and has generated more than $175,000.00 for donation since that time. Living in Pink, a local breast cancer charity started by Michele Conley, has been the primary beneficiary of the event. Michele was a double breast cancer survivor who passed away in late 2014. She remains a true inspiration to those whose lives have been touched by this disease. Wrinkle Erase donations have benefitted numerous local and national research projects through entities such as the Lombardi Cancer Institute, National Cancer Institute, MD Anderson Cancer Center; as well as, local prevention and support programs.

The generous support of our sponsors, Allergan, Galderma and Merz, allows us to donate a maximum amount of the proceeds possible. During that day we perform cosmetic injections of the available toxins (BOTOX® Cosmetic, Dysport®, XEOMIN®) and fillers (Restylane®, JUVÉDERM®, BELOTERO BALANCE®, RADIESSE®). The proceeds from those treatments become donations that day. Isn't it nice to know that getting a rejuvenating treatment on that day also does something amazing for the fight against breast cancer?

Our goal is to hold this event every year and raise more funds than each previous year until this terrible disease is eradicated. In order to do that we need you to help us pass the word along. Feel free to send this website to family, friends and associates, and sign up to be notified of next year's event. If you are interested in becoming a sponsor, let us know by emailing to info@westendplasticsurgery.com and we will contact you.

Please encourage family, friends and colleagues to make an appointment (202) 785-4187 or just stop by and donate a wrinkle or two to a great cause at our next Wrinkle Erase for the Cause event on October 13th, 2016. If these treatments are not for you, enjoy a facial, massage, body composition analysis, raffle items, jewelry, and good company; or donate directly through our PayPal button.

You can also request a consultation with Dr. Ruff if you are considering breast reconstruction surgery. Or you can call our office at (202) 785-4187 to schedule an appointment.
