Painter and photographer Jill Finsen uses mixed media to challenge the mind's concept of what is familiar and what is abstract. In the works featured at West End Plastic Surgery, she uses vibrant, saturated color to bring landscapes and figures to life. Her work has appeared in exhibitions in Washington, D.C. and throughout the Northeast over the past 3 decades. More information is available on her website.
Painter Judy Giuliani's "Cirque" series, on display at West End Plastic Surgery, came from the power and drama she saw onstage when she first attended a Cirque du Soleil performance. Locally, the artist is a member of both the Touchstone Gallery and the Capital Hill Art League in Washington, D.C., as well as The Art League in Alexandria, Virginia, and the Maryland Federation of Art.
