What is Silhouette InstaLift™?
Silhouette InstaLift is a minimally invasive treatment done by Dr. Paul Ruff that immediately redefines mid-facial contours for a natural, younger look. It is a dual-action treatment that produces two desirable facial outcomes: immediate lifting of the tissue in the mid-face area and a gradual regeneration of collagen to add volume, a result that gets better over time.
If you are looking for a non-surgical option to a facelift, Silhouette InstaLift™ could be the right treatment for you when done by a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon.
Silhouette InstaLift™ Benefits
- Minimally invasive
- Minimal downtime
- Immediate lift
- Facial volume
- Progressive restoration of the body’s own lost collagen
- Natural looking results
Immediate Lifting Effect
The lifting effect is immediate and discreet. It is the result of skin elevation at the time of the procedure. After inserting the sutures, Board Certified Plastic Surgeon Dr. Paul Ruff, will adjust your skin to the desired elevation and use bi-directional cones on the sutures to hold it in place. In this way, Dr. Ruff reshapes the contours of your face for a more youthful appearance.
What Are The Sutures Made Of And Are They Safe?
Silhouette InstaLift is made from Polyglycolide/L-lactide (PLGA), which has a long history of use as a well-tolerated, resorbable suture. The suture design was developed by scientists in the USA using reconstructive and aesthetic surgical expertise.
Is Silhouette InstaLift™ Right For You?
Silhouette InstaLift™ offers an excellent option for women and men who are looking for a natural, younger look but who don’t want to undergo a traditional surgical facelift or deal with the ongoing maintenance required with injectables three to four times a year.

Silhouette InstaLift™ Side Effects
The most common side effects that patients experience include bruising and redness after the procedure. However, at West End Plastic Surgery, we discuss some ways our patients can prepare in order to reduce these side effects. This includes refraining from aspirin, a blood-thinning medication. Please keep in mind that its important that all patients will need to consult with their primary care physician before stopping their medication. In addition, taking arnica pre and post procedure will alleviate bruising.
