Meet our Facial Plastic Surgeon, Dr. Lexie Wang! She's a board-certified surgeon who specializes in cosmetic and reconstructive procedures of the face and neck region. Her specialties include Extended Deep-Plane Face and Neck Lifts, Rhinoplasties, Brow and Eyelid surgeries, and Lip Lifts. As well as hair restoration and non-surgical aesthetic treatments.
Dr. Wang was one of two surgeons accepted to train at the highly prestigious American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (AAFPRS) accredited fellowship in Beverly Hills with the world-renowned surgeon, Dr. Paul Nassif (star of "Botched”).
Dr. Wang was selected as a Castle Connolly Rising Star for 2023! This recognition puts her among only 7% of all U.S. board-certified physicians!

Born and raised in nearby Fairfax, Virginia, Dr. Wang attended Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology where her passion for medicine developed. She went on to complete her undergraduate education at the University of California, San Diego (UCSD) in three years, graduating with cum laude honors. After spending a year working in the UCSD Department of Psychiatry, where she studied the physiology of circadian rhythms, she returned to Virginia to attend the University of Virginia School of Medicine.
Following medical school, Dr. Wang entered a highly competitive 5-year Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery residency at the Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond. During this time, she was able to develop an expertise in the complex and intricate anatomy of the head and neck region. In her final year of residency, she served as Chief Resident in her department.
After residency, Dr. Wang became one of two surgeons accepted to train at the highly prestigious American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery accredited fellowship in Beverly Hills, California, with world-renowned surgeons Dr. Paul Nassif (star of E!’s “Botched” and creator NassifMD®), Dr. Babak Azizzadeh (founder of the Facial Paralysis Institute and the Center for Advanced Facial Plastic Surgery), and Dr. Grace Lee Peng. During her tenure, Dr. Wang treated patients from all over the world, learning the nuances of challenging primary and revision facial aesthetic surgery. While there, she also had the privilege to train with other world leaders in the aesthetic medicine and surgery field, including Dr. Guy Massry, Dr. Benjamin Talei, and Dr. Rebecca Fitzgerald. This is where she added a multitude of facial cosmetic and reconstructive surgeries and treatments to her scope of practice, including extended deep-plane face and neck lift techniques, brow and eyelid surgeries, lip lift, primary and revision rhinoplasty, facial nerve reanimation, skin cancer and facial trauma reconstruction, hair restoration, and non-surgical aesthetic treatments (fillers, neuromodulators like Botox, laser treatments, Microneedling, etc.).
Dr. Wang is thrilled to return to her hometown of the DMV area and to bring her expertise and high-quality care to West End Plastic Surgery. She hopes to build long-lasting relationships with patients that are founded on trust and honesty as they work together toward graceful aging, refining one’s features, and ultimately creating facial harmony while boosting confidence and self-love. Outside of work, Dr. Wang enjoys reading, traveling, board games, brunch, and cats.
